Settler Terror Rising Across the West Bank

As the genocide in Gaza persists, violence from both the hands of illegal settlers and the IOF have escalated in the West Bank. In the past week alone, settlers’ pogroms ravaged al-Mughayyir and at least 10 other villages – destroying land, houses and cars. Dozens of Palestinians have been injured, and 4 have been martyred. Armed settlers and the IOF have killed more than 460 Palestinians in the West Bank since October 7.

Since October 7, the Israeli government has approved more than 100,000 gun licenses leading to 700+ settler attacks in the West Bank. As Israel continuously shows its inability to defeat the resistance or achieve its militarism aims in Gaza, the settlers are become more angered and emboldened in their violence.

American settler organizations, like the Jewish National Fund, and construction companies, like CAT, facilitate the settler project in Palestine. With the funding and support of Zionist organizations, Western corporations, and governments, Israel has recently managed to seize the largest amount of land in the West Bank since the 1993 Oslo Accords.

Despite the escalations, Palestinians have been steadfast in protecting their homes. Palestinian resistance in the West Bank, especially among the youth, continues to be a testament to the unification of people’s fight against the Zionist project – despite the geographical obstacles. Brick by brick, wall by wall, as Zionist terrorism escalates across all of our lands, so does our dedication to dismantling the systems and walls that keep us from one another.
